The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Punjab and is affiliated to IK Gujral Punjab Technical University(IKGPTU), Jalandhar. ACE is at present running B.Tech (Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering).The college is also running Polytechnic courses including Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Which are affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Information Technology (PSBTE&IT).
The Bachelor of Technology is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a four year program. The course is career oriented and practice based with elaborate and comprehensive practical exposure through visits to technological institutions. Seminars and lectures by experts are an essential part of the curriculum. The candidate which have passed +2 pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible to join this course from Best Engineering college in Chandigarh. This degree enables the students to work as professional engineers in their respective fields or to pursue higher education like M.Tech for specialization.
Department of Civil Engineering
Civil Engineering is the most versatile branch of Engineering.

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering aims to provide education in the
oldest branch of engineering , enabling the students to develop the ability to
design, plan & manage the latest technologies in the field of technology
coupled with inter disciplinary knowledge. The primary focus of the department
is to develop professionals who are fit to face the challenges of the modern
world of 21st century.
